Whenever I finish a new library I’ll admit, there’s an overall good sense of accomplishment. I’ll look back a little and see where it all started, all the various challenges and experiences, what I learned, and it feels pretty good to know that you were able to set some goals and hopefully achieve some of what you set out to do. Personally, libraries involve a lot of work and time, more a fault of my own as they tend to send me in a hundred different directions, but I find it really enjoyable to immerse myself into a theme or subject matter and hopefully at some point be able to throw it out there into the world. What happens after that, who knows!
Anyway, that’s all very short lived and soon afterwards I’m thinking, ok, well, what’s next? I’ve got a few ideas, but after going through a number of various recordings I’ve done that still haven’t been released, I thought I’d do something a little different for some upcoming libraries. These will be a series of smaller / mini libraries with various themes. Sometimes when I’m looking for new a library to help with projects I don’t always need a full in depth set of sounds, but rather just some new material to help augment what I already have. Library size will likely vary, but that’s kind of the thought process behind it all.
Harbor and Ocean is the first library in the series and will feature 15 Files / 1.3GB of some Harbor / Marina Birds, various Ocean Waves, Water Laps, Barge Ships, and Ambiences.
